Company Overview
PNG Motors is the leading distributor of passenger vehicles in Papua New Guinea.  This success is attributable to offering a quality product supported by a full range of service facilities and parts backup.  PNG motors hold the PNG distribution rights for Mazda, Suzuki, Hyundai and Ford vehicles.  The extensive branch network covers five major locations; Port Moresby, Lae, Goroka, Mt. Hagen, and Kokopo. In addition to these, dealers in Alotau, Popondetta, Kimbe, Wewak, Madang and Kavieng have been appointed.  The Mazda range of vehicles includes luxury sedans and hatchbacks, light commercial vehicles, buses, and trucks up to four tonnes.  Suzuki products include passenger vehicles, four wheel drive vehicles, light commercials, outboard motors, generators and motors cycles.  Hyundai, a realtive newcomer to the PNG Market, offers high quality and very cost competitive range of sedans, hatchbacks and station wagons.

The philosophy of PNG Motors is to provide a comprehensive range of spare parts and service facilities.  Our fully equipped service centres provide a range of service including mechanical, panelshop, auto-eletrical and air conditioning. Apart from holding a full range of genuine spare parts, PNG motors has available quality non-genuine parts for most popular makes and models.  In particular, PNG Motors holds the franchise for Ryco filters and Hella lighting and electrical equipment.  PNG Motors supply quality products and a full range of backup services whether you are an individual or a fleet buyer..

Company Background
A merger in 1991 of the original Kenmore Group and the Dylup Group of Companies created what is now the Kenmore Group.  The original Kenmore Group was founded wom twenty one years ago when our Chairman C.M. Cheung arrived in Papua New Guinea and started Melanesian Tobacco in Lae.  Over the years further investments were made in the Rumion piggery.  In Atlas Steel and in property. Initially the property investments were at Six Mile, and then later Ela Beach Tower was built and other residential and commercial units acquired.

The Dylup Group can trace it's history back to the old Pacific Taxi Service. During the sixties and early seventies the original buisness grew and a motor dealership was started which became known as PNG Motors.

In 1997 a new Franchise was obtained, that being Ford.  Ford products are marketed from separate premises to those of PNG Motors under the name Niu Ford.
